Cinnamon Gum is a project full of contrasts: a band that is, in essence, a one-man creation; a story constantly being written here and now; a reality carefully designed for pleasure—both the creator’s and the audience’s.

Founded in 2023 by producer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Maciej Milewski, Cinnamon Gum draws inspiration from the soul and funk of the golden era of the 1960s and 1970s. Under the pseudonym Cinnamon Guy, the artist is responsible for every stage of the project’s creation—from composition, recording, and music production to the visual layer and the direction of music videos—consistently relying on analog techniques and classic sound craftsmanship.

The debut EP Moon Water was released in 2023, followed a year later by the full-length album The Cinnamon Show—a tribute to the warm, organic sound of the 1970s. The record is a musical journey through soulful harmonies, funky grooves, and emotional, intimate lyrics, evoking the work of legends such as Marvin Gaye and Curtis Mayfield. Each single is accompanied by a carefully crafted visual setting inspired by iconic television shows like Soul Train or The Midnight Special.

The album The Cinnamon Show was released by Seagull Ross and distributed by the legendary American label Colemine Records, known for artists such as Black Pumas, Durand Jones & The Indications, and Aaron Frazer. Cinnamon Gum is a project that blends nostalgia with a modern sensibility, offering listeners an authentic and timeless musical experience.
